Scientific activities

Scientific investigations in the University of banking of the National bank of Ukraine are hold at such basic directions:
- theoretical aspects of the financial sector development in transformational economy;
- financial mediators and their influence upon the domestic economy development;
- regional aspects of the banking system development;
- legal regulation of the banking unions foundation and functioning;
- problems and perspectives of the financial markets development in Ukraine;
- financial and credit providing with investment and innovative activities;
- methodical aspects of the financial flows, accounting policy and tax assessments of the enterprise entities management;
- problems of the electronic payment systems foundation and development;
- social and economic aspects of the development of Ukraine in context of globalization and Euro integration;
- financial security of states, enterprise entities and financial institutions;
- info security in the banking sphere;
- economic and mathematic modeling in banking;
- the Ukrainian banks human resources: foundation, functioning and development tendencies;
- problems of modern education in Ukraine.

In 2007 the Institutes of the University of banking published 478 scientific works, including:
- 54 manuals and textbooks;
- 11 monographs. 

The articles of the professors of the University of banking are published in the following editions: Ukrainian illustrated scientific and practical Visnyk of the National Bank of Ukraine monthly, Ukrainian scientific and practical Bankivska Sprava (Banking Business) journal, Ukrainian Finansy Ukraiinu (Finances of Ukraine) journal, Ukrainian Ekonomika Ukraiiny (Ukrainian Economy) trimonthly, Ukrainian Ekonomika: problemy teorii ta praktyky (Economy: theory and practice problems) magazine etc.

The University of banking has concluded the official agreements on cooperation in the sphere of educational and scientific activities with British Council, Consortium on Improvement of the Education Management in Ukraine, British and Swiss Body of Experts, numerous higher educational establishments abroad, scientific and banking institutions in Poland, Germany, Japan, Czech Republic, Spain, Belorussia and Russia, takes part in the international projects realization.

The University of banking Institutes also organize international scientific and practical conferences in Ukraine.
