Upgrade Qualifications

The main task of the Faculty is to improve the qualification and retrain the bank skilled workers, to organize the purpose-made courses, seminars, scientific and practical conferences, trainings, “round tables”, to carry out the interchange of practical studies and theoretical evidence in the sphere of banking and courses for junior entrepreneurs.

The Faculty carries out:
- retraining of students that get second higher education at the educational-qualification level of Specialist on the basis of the higher complete education by specialties: “Banking” and “Finances”;
- improvement of skills of the public sector workers at the direction “State administration” (for the employees of the National bank of Ukraine bank, credit unions, pension fund, State Saving bank of Ukraine etc.);
- advanced training of the bank employees;
- organization of the thematic seminars, trainings, round tables on the actual theme of the ordering parties.

The Faculty of the advanced training and retraining:
- cooperates with the National bank of Ukraine, banking institutions, the Ukrainian association of banks, scientific and investigation institutions and higher educational establishments, international organizations;
- involves into participation of the employees of the National bank of Ukraine, commercial banks, specialists of the scientific and investigation institutions, the higher educational establishments scientific and pedagogical staff into seminars, conferences and courses for foreign specialists and consultants;
- holds the advanced training courses, seminars and trainings within the cooperation with foreign partners;
- employs progressive methods and new technologies of studying during retraining and advanced training of students;
- organizes and carries out scientific and research, search and applied research activities;
- prepares specialists under new directions of science and technologies;
- extends professional knowledge among the youth.  

The audience take the advanced training courses not only in internal but also in extra-mural educational form.

The extra-mural educational form allows promoting the professional level of students without leaving the day job. The audience is also provided with comfortable living conditions. The term of studying at the advanced training courses is 12 days (72 academic hours). The duration of seminar is 2-3 days.
