Cherkasy Institute of banking of the University of banking of the National bank of Ukraine

The Cherkasy Institute of banking of the University of banking is a specialized educational establishment with more than a 40 years history. It has its own established traditions, a modern material and technical basis and a highly-qualified faculty that ensures a high-level culture and a qualitative instruction. Leading scientific and pedagogical faculty of Cherkasy and Kyiv, practitioners of the National bank of Ukraine system and commercial banks, foreign consultants are invited to teach. 

The social sphere development occupies a significant place in the modern activities of the Institute administration.

All studying working places have been accommodated with ergonomic furniture, modern demonstration equipment. Computer classes have been supplied with modern computers that comply with the sanitary requirements. 

The Institute has 2 hostels that house 582 persons.

Scientific activities:

Scientific activity of the Cherkasy Institute of banking of the University of banking of the National bank of Ukraine is an integral constituent of the specialists preparative for banking system and economic spheres of Ukraine.

Scientific and research activities of professors of the Cherkasy Institute of banking are carried out at the following directions: engaging in research works, thesis works, monographs, scientific articles, publishing of the personal teacher editions, the students scientific and search activities control, participation in All Ukrainian and international conferences, seminars, cooperation with the educational establishments of the National bank of Ukraine and the other institutions of the Ministry and Science of Ukraine.

International cooperation:

The Cherkasy Institute of banking productively collaborates with foreign educational, scientific and other organisations. Contacts as for the exchange of experience on the the higher education adaptation towards the European standards and the Bologna declaration principles, the modern technologies of studying implementation have been established. 

The practical training of students became traditional at the Bundesbank Highest School (Hachenburg, Germany).  

Also Cherkasy Institute of banking holds close ties with the other foreign educational establishments such as:
- Financial Academy under the Russian Federation government;
- the Institute of Virtual Technologies in Education (Russia);
- Economic University of Kazakhstan.

Upgrade Qualifications:

Cherkasy Institute of banking is a separated structural unit of the University of banking of the National bank of Ukraine (Kyiv). It plans to licence the educational services as for the upgrade qualifications of the specialists of banks and other financial and credit institutions according to the programs brought into accord with the Ministry of Science and Education of Ukraine. The upgrade qualification courses will be hold under the 72-hours long educational program. Studies completed, the audience gets the standing national standard document.
