On 17 May, 2007 Tamara Smovzhenko, Rector of the University of banking of the National bank of Ukraine together with Sergiy Tryputen, the representative of the World Bank Group International Financial Corporation, the leader of the project “Corporate governance in the banking sector of Ukraine” and Richard Glover, the head of the training campaign “ATC International” have signed the Memorandum on Cooperation.

On 19 July, 2007 the materials revision of the project “Corporate governance in the banking sector of Ukraine” and the discussion of the examples of the best practice of the corporate governance of the worlds leading companies were realized.

On 19 September, 2007 the open seminar entitled “Corporate Secretary” with bank representatives and scientific and pedagogical staff of the University, headed by Gertruda Erisman Peer (Switzerland), took place.   

On 25 September, 2007 the open seminar titled “Risk Management” with the bank representatives and scientific and pedagogical staff of the University, headed by the Switzerland bank Credit Swiss Group expert, was organized.  

In the frameworks of cooperation with the International Financial Corporation the delegation from Vietnam have visited the University of banking of the National bank of Ukraine.  

Scientific and practical seminar on “Financial monitoring at the risks assessment grounds. Advanced experience of foreign countries” with the participation of Professor Jos de Wit (Netherlands), an expert of the Council of Europe on financial monitoring was carried out.

Master students did practical training in the financial establishments of Germany in Berlin banks of social economy, Folksbank (Stuttgart),  Kölner Bank eG (Cologne), Sparkasse (Saarbrücken).

Master students took part in the seminar “Monetary economy in the world of globalization” at the High School – University of Applied Sciences of the Federal bank of Germany in Hachenburg.
