University of banking

The students of the Institute of Masters Preparation and Postgraduate Education of the University of banking of the National bank of Ukraine did predegree practice at the educational center “Vatter”in Schirgiswalde(Germany) on 21-28 March, 2009.

From 27 February till 13 April, 2009 the students of the Institute of Masters Preparation and Postgraduate Education of the University of banking of the National bank of Ukraine did predegree practice in the Central Division of the PKO BP SA Bank (Warsaw, Poland).    

From 15 till 21 June,2009  five post-graduate students of the University underwent a study course in the frameworks of the international scientific project «International School of Young Researchers - ISYR)» - «Summer academy - 2009» on the program «World financial crisis and its influence upon the financial systems development» at the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation.

The group of 10 post-graduates and students of the University visited the International Baltic Academy and took part in the International School of Banking during the period from 5 till 13 July, 2009 to favor the development of scientific investigations in the sphere of economics, banking business and management.     

Rector of the University of banking of the National bank of Ukraine, Professor, Dr. Tamara Smovzhenko signed the Magna Charta Universitatum in Bologna University on September, 18 2009

From 12 till 15 October, 2009 Joahim Fuchs, the senior chief of the Technical Cooperation Center projects of the Deutsche Bundesbank hold the seminar «The system of central bank and management of human recourses» that was organized at the University of banking of the National bank of Ukraine.  

From 3 till 17 October, 2009 the group of 20 students and professors of the University took part in the international seminar on “Financial markets in the global economy” that was organized at the University of Applied Sciences of the Federal Bank of Germany (Hachenburg, Federal Republic of Germany)

From 21 till 29 November, 2009 the group of post-graduate students of the University and the associate professor of the Faculty of Finances of the Institute of Masters Preparation and Postgraduate Education, PhD in Economics, Svitlana Mishchenko took part in the international seminar on “World Financial Crisis: Strategies and Perspectives of the European Banks” that took place at the Graduate School of Management in Barcelona (Spain) 

From 15 till 17 December, 2009 the Vice-rector for scientific and educational work and international relations of the University Grygoriy Khoruzhyy together with the Head of the Department of Social Disciplines at Lviv Institute of banking of the University of banking of the National bank of Ukraine Zoya Skrynnyk and Professor of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines at Kharkiv Institute of banking of the University of banking of the National bank of Ukraine Nadiia Korabliova was on a business trip at Lublin Catholic University of Joann Paul II in Poland.
During their visit to the Department of Legal and Economic Sciences of the University (Tomaszów Lubelski) the dean prof. Tadeusz Guz and his deputy prof. Paweł Marzecov participated in the detailed discussions of the four scientific conferences planned for the year 2010 that have to be organized  at Lviv Institute of banking of the University of banking of the National bank of Ukraine and at the Department of Legal and Economic Sciences of Lublin Catholic University of Joann Paul II in Tomaszów Lubelski on the following:
- “Family and Economics” (February 2010, Lviv City);
- “Economics and Youth’s Future” (May 2010, Tomaszów Lubelski);
- “Social Responsibility in Economics” (September-October 2010, Lviv City)
- “Intellectual Culture and Economics” (November 2010, Tomaszów Lubelski)

On 14-15 December, 2009 General Director of the European Business Assembly (Oxford, Great Britain), Academic Director of the Graduate School of Management in Barcelona (Spain) prof. John Netting hold the seminar on “Educational Methodology of the Masters Programs” at the University of banking of the National bank of Ukraine. Lecturers of University involved into the Program of Double Degree Diploma on Informational Technologies, Business and Marketing (MBM) at the Escuela Universitària Salesiana de Sarrià (EUSS) in Barcelona (Spain) and the post-graduates students took place in the seminar.
